8 weeks of gentle guidance, research‑based tools, and compassionate support for life after the death of a partner.
When your partner dies, life changes in every direction. Many widows feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure how to move forward. The weight of grief, stress, and constant change affects the mind, body, and spirit in ways that feel invisible to others but unmistakable to you.
You are not alone in this.
Discover Life Again™ is not a grief support group or counseling session. It is a transformative next step, a whole‑health education class designed specifically for widows navigating life after the death of a partner.
Grounded in current research, shaped by years of professional experience, and inspired by what I wish I had known when I was widowed at 39, this class offers a compassionate, structured space to learn, reflect, and begin rebuilding your life with clarity and support.
Class Details:
Discover Life Again empowers you to create a life where grief is honored, love endures, and new beginnings unfold.
This experience is devastating, painful, disorienting, and life‑altering. Many widows find themselves asking:
These questions are normal, and they deserve a space where they are met with compassion, clarity, and whole‑health support.
Discover Life Again™ helps you take small, steady steps toward rebuilding. Step by step, with guidance and supportive practices, you’ll begin to rediscover the next version of your life rooted in your own wisdom, strength, and resilience.
You have survived something profound. You are no longer the same person. And with the right tools and support, you already have what you need to take the next step.

It’s also a supportive complement to counseling, coaching, and medical care.

Marni Henderson, B.S., Community Health Educator, Wellness Practitioner, widow, and founder of Sunrise Retreats, brings over 30 years of experience in health education, coaching, and exercise training. Guided by both personal loss and professional insight, she supports women in navigating the life-altering experience of widowhood with compassion and clarity.
Marni’s approach honors the truth that grief affects every part of who we are—mind, body, and spirit. Through her whole-person lens, she helps participants tend to their health and well-being in deeply integrated ways, while building meaningful steps toward life after loss. Together, with the support of a compassionate community, she invites women to honor their past and gently begin shaping what comes next.

“After the grief group came to an end, I now understood my grief and wanted to find ways to keep living with some type of meaning. I was struggling to figure out how. After working with Marni, I feel I am a much stronger and realize that I can do this and have lots of life left to live.”
“You gracefully and metaphorically took my hand as I walked up the mountain while seeing the peaks, valleys, beauty and devastation. With skillful questions encouraging me to see different perspectives while also feeling the pain, AND the love and joy. This time encouraged me to embrace my life and live fully.”
“I now have tools to live this new life. I feel empowered and grateful for the woman I am today. The pain and sorrow still lives with me…..and I am aware of how to choose the way I engage with life. I can feel joy again and I now remember my forgotten passions of years ago."

Perfect. This class works alongside therapy and support groups. Counselors often tell me their clients make deeper progress when they have whole‑health tools to support their nervous system and daily life within the space of a supportive community of other widowed women.
