  At Sunrise Retreats, we believe that finances should never prevent opportunities for healing. The detrimental effects to financial stability with the death of a partner often leave little room for extra expenses and asking for help can feel overwhelming and uncomfortable. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the time, efforts, and financial support of our supporters to achieve our mission. Based on need and availability, it is with joyful and generous hearts we offer financial assistance to attend program. We also have a fantastic opportunity for others to "gift" a retreat experience.

A Personal Fundraising Tool to Support a Widow’s Healing Journey

When someone we love is grieving, we often don’t know how to help. There are only so many casseroles and bouquets one can give—what many widowed women truly need is space to heal, tools to rebuild, and a community that understands.

Send Her to Sunrise is a personal fundraising tool that allows family, friends, and community members to gift a widow the life-changing experience of a Sunrise Retreat. With a short description of who she is and why this program matters, we’ll create a personalized fundraising page that links directly to her registration cost.

This tool has made a real difference for many women. It gives those who care a tangible way to show up—offering something that supports the heart, mind, and spirit during one of life’s most difficult transitions.

• It invites community into the healing process.
• It helps remove financial barriers to a deeply needed experience.
• It honors the widow’s story while empowering her next steps.

Please note: While we cannot distribute funds directly to participants, any amount raised beyond the $1,249 program cost will go toward helping other widowed women attend a future retreat.  If you’re interested in creating a personal fundraising page, simply complete the financial support form below—we’ll take care of the rest with care and confidentiality

We do ask each participant to contribute a $150 deposit to confirm attendance.
