Registration

To attend any of our retreats, please complete the registration form below.  We appreciate your information as it helps us to understand and best serve our retreat participants.  We will also be happy to answer your questions, as well as arrange for you to speak with a member of our staff to discuss the retreat to ensure a positive and deeply meaningful experience. 


Once we have received your registration and $150 deposit, we will contact you with the additional information-medical questionnaire, pack list and confirmation of attendance.  Our retreats fill up fast and some participants travel from out of state.  We respect and honor your time and resources.  Therefore, we ask for a deposit to hold your spot.  


Your balance will be due, at the latest, 30 days before the retreat start date. Retreat participation is not guaranteed until all forms are complete and paid in full.  In the event of a waiting list, we will notify the next registered guest of an opening.  Please call us with any questions regarding payment options or  scholarships opportunities.

DETAILS

Our thoughtfully designed retreats include:

  • Accommodations (most retreats are double occupancy however, we do have a limited number of single-occupancy rooms available)
  • All meals
  • A massage
  • Art activities and supplies
  • Outdoor experiences
  • Group activities and educational materials
  •  A magical weekend experience connecting with others while surrounded by nature and a caringly delightful retreat team (licensed counselor, health and wellness educator, massage therapist, and so much more!) 
  • Our retreats are not co-ed.
  • We start on Friday at 1:00 pm and you will leave retreat by 12:00 on Sunday.

COST

The cost of our all-inclusive weekend retreat is $450 for double occupancy. A deposit of $150 is required at enrollment to reserve your space.  With our fundraising efforts and commitment to supporting those recovering from loss, we do have payment options and a personal fundraising tool.  For more information, please see the information below.

Financial Support

 In the spirit of widows helping widows, Sunrise Retreats is committed to offering financial assistance to those who need it. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to participation in our life-changing retreats. If you cannot attend a retreat due to cost, we strongly encourage you to apply for financial assistance and/or allow loved ones to gift you the retreat through a personal fundraising tool (see sidebar).  Financial support is budgeted on a per-retreat basis; this means that funding is limited per retreat.  If financial support would make a difference in your ability to attend this life-changing retreat, please indicate so on the following registration form.   


THANK YOU for asking.....we honor the pride and courage of every participant attending our retreats.  We respect your personal needs and value your story.  


  1. We do ask that each participant pay at least the $150 retreat deposit to secure their attendance.  
  2. All attendees are encouraged to use our "send her to retreat" tool that allows family and friends to gift them this life-changing experience.  
  3. Please fill out the application below for financial assistance consideration.  
  4.  All applications will be reviewed by our Retreat Committee to determine eligibility. 
  5. All information is confidential. 


  *Please know that we will do our best to help and that our funds are finite so we cannot guarantee that every application will result in a scholarship. 

Gifting The Retreat

We have a wonderful tool that can be used by family and friends or yourself, to gift the retreat experience.  With a short description of who and why we can supply a "personal fundraising page" that directly links funds raised to the retreat participants' registration costs.  Funds raised over $450 will go towards sending other widows to retreat as well!   Sounds like an amazing opportunity for others to give and receive.  For more details, click below!
